Néfiach is a commune in the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France and is where this fig originates. Néfiach is a rare fig and was part of Professor Rivals collection in Toulouse.

Néfiach is a small to medium sized fig that is green and yellow on the outside and brilliant red inside. It is jammy syrupy fig with a berry flavor. Let them ripen fully.

It produces one crop of figs in August/September

Pronounced : "nif yak"
