"Hâtive d’Argenteuil" is a fig from France with a literal translation "early Argenteuil"

This fig's name was misspelled as "Native d'Argenteuil" at the University of California-Davis

This is a modest growing fig that produces many figs that are purple and green outside and bright red inside. This fig has an excellent berry flavor. Give it full sun and plenty of water.

We get ripe figs mid-August in northern New Jersey 7a.
