Coll de Dama Blanca

$109.99

Our stock for this French variety originated in Spain and it is the the same as Col de Dame Blanc. The fig has a long neck and is said to resemble the "Collar of a Lady" or "Collier d'une Dame" when high collars and expensive jeweled necklaces were in fashion in French royalty. When translated to Spanish it becomes "Coll de Dama"

Coll de Dama Blanca grows large and tall quickly for us. We have several mother trees with nice thick trunks growing in 20 gallon pots.

This fig is yellow and green on the outside and red on the inside. It produces one crop that starts to ripen in early October for us.

This fig is firm, very flavorful, the pulp has a lot of body and it has a thick skin. It is very sweet and fruity fig with hints of citrus and concorde grapes. This is a highly desirable fig.

Origin: Montserrat Pons

Available in 5 gallon nursery containers Spring/Summer 2022
