Cavalière is a sweet and jammy fig. We can taste cherry and berry flavors along with a citrus tang. It is a medium sized fig that is greenish with purple stripes outside and deep red inside. In Italy, Cavalière is highly regarded and considered among the best if not the best dark fig.

The fig crop begins to ripen in September and continues until frost for us in 7a
